Laura Fortunato is Associate Professor of Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Oxford, a Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford and an External Professor of the Santa Fe Institute. Her research investigates the evolution of human social and cultural behaviour, focusing on topics at the interface of biology and anthropology. Three areas of ongoing research are kinship and systems, cultural evolution, and cooperation and conflict.
